AQUAREZ® EAA DP696-37

AQUAREZ® EAA DP696-37 is a water-based emulsion of ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymers. It exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, including paper and aluminium. It provides functional barrier properties when coated on paper, resulting in low water uptake, low moisture vapour transmission rates (MVTR) and excellent grease resistance. It is suitable for use without additional formulation, or as the base for a water-based coating.

APPLICATION & DOSAGE

AQUAREZ® EAA DP696-37 is formulated and ready to be coated as supplied. The product is typically applied by flexographic or rotogravure. Forced air drying that leads to a web temperature between 100 - 110ºC, typically results in good film formulation.
