Regulatory compliance
For us, regulatory compliance is not just a box ticking exercise, it is a fundamental part of a rigorous service we offer to our customers.
With every dispersion and formulation, we know there’s a lot at stake - not least commercial viability. Our aim is to ensure our products are suitable for the relevant safety, legal or environmental requirements in their intended geographical territories– if we have not achieved this, then we clearly haven’t done our job.
Basically, regulatory compliance covers:
Information on the raw materials that we use
And documentation on how these materials are used to create products for our clients
Laws, regulations, standards
In a constantly changing regulatory compliance landscape, our job is to assess the existing and future standards and regulations against which your dispersions will be evaluated.
Time, money and performance are critical considerations for all our customers - so our regulatory services are designed to minimise risk and optimise route to market.
Whatever supporting documentation or compliance statement that you need, we can produce this once we’ve completed all our regulatory checks. This might take the form of a product safety statement, a food contact statement or an environmental management declaration.
A forensic approach
Our regulatory team plays a key role to make sure that we’ve resolved every possible issue, to de-risk each formulation before it goes into production. Our job is to answer all your questions, such as::
How safe are our products with regards to both handling and the environment?
Do they comply with National Inventory Listings so they can be imported and used in certain national territories?
Do our products comply with specific industry and customer requirements such as food contact, VOC content, compostability?
You may very well have your own specific issues that you want us to explore, as well as identify possible future changes to regulations and compliance in the markets that you’re operating in.
Because regulatory compliance is such an important aspect of our work, our regulatory team works in collaboration with our clients to make sure we’ve covered every detail.
A critical part of our work is to liaise with our raw materials suppliers to verify:
Material composition
National registrations
Product compliance and suitability
From this process we can provide compliance statements for our customers to confirm that our products are suitable and compliant for their intended end-use within their proposed market and operational territory.
