Words From Our Team
Elliot Hawksworth, Research and Process Development Manager
In 2018, I joined Aquaspersions as a Development Chemist, having previously worked as a research scientist in the water-soluble polyacrylate industry.
Over the past years, I have developed and advanced my career with the help of Aquaspersions and have advanced to the position of Research and Process Development Manager.
In this role, my daily responsibilities include managing and mentoring a small research team, providing production and business support, and driving various projects forward.
The variety of projects I’m involved in keep the role challenging and interesting, from biopolymers to waterborne 1K isocyanate crosslinkers to novel antioxidant emulsions.
I look forward to developing my career with Aquaspersions.
Lauren Stopford, MAAT Assistant Accountant
I started at Aquaspersions in June 2021 as an Accounts Assistant.
The company has given me great opportunities to progress, offering study support to become AAT qualified and allowing me to become the Assistant Accountant while I study for the CIMA.
Assisting our Management Accountant has enabled me to get involved in new projects, such as product costing, enabling me to use the skills learnt in my studies to help with producing the monthly accounts.
Aquaspersions is a great place to work with exciting plans for growth in North America and the biopolymers market!
I take pride in being a part of the team and look forward to being a part of the company’s future.
Jake Lambert, Management Accountant
My role isn’t limited, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities that include liaising with budgeting and forecasting, and analysing and reporting on business performance relating to sales and margins or operating costs.
It’s clear to me that Aquaspersions is growing, and the company’s plans for future growth will provide me with plenty of opportunities to gain experience vital to furthering my career.
Aquaspersions has a great teamwork ethos – everyone is approachable, friendly, and determined to get things done, and done well!
With new projects and initiatives on the horizon, such as the introduction of a new business unit in the US, I’m looking forward to what the future holds for Aquaspersions and how my career progresses.
