About The Role
As HSE Manager, you will take the lead in developing and enhancing our HSE systems and culture across the site.
You will ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and other regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement through audits, training, and proactive risk management. You will also collaborate with our global teams, including operations in Malaysia and US, to align and standardise safety practices across the group.
What You’ll Do
Lead the implementation of HSE policies, systems, and new legislation.
Oversee and maintain compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
Conduct risk assessments (manual handling, COSHH, fire prevention, PUWER, LOLER).
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
Develop and deliver a site-wide H&S training programme.
Prepare monthly SHE reports for senior leadership and board meetings.
Manage the site’s CSR plan and contribute to long-term HSE roadmaps.
Act as a key advisor to line managers on all health, safety, and environmental matters.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and experienced HSE leader who thrives in a complex manufacturing environment.
Essential experience & skills:
3–5 years’ experience as a SHE Manager in a chemical manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ISO 14001 compliance.
NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
Degree in a science-based subject (Chemistry preferred).
Lead Auditor training and environmental compliance knowledge.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
